COLD MOUNTAIN – TETONS
The Teton Range is a beautiful mountain range with jagged peaks that run about 40 miles long and 15 miles wide. Without foot hills, they rise, roughly, 7000 ft. above the valley floor … a very impressive sight to all that see them. Although the valley of Jackson Hole may get warm in the summer months, its cold snow and ice that dominate the mountains. It can easily snow in any month up high and temperatures dip to -60 F. Summer never comes to the higher peaks of the Tetons. |
